No date assigned in the book but looking at the fact that it’s manufacture edition number being the fifth edition made, it is going to be an early production in the 1900s.

The book extends information and offers a comprehensive understanding of day to day references on the construction, repair, redecoration and renovation of buildings.

Builders and Decorators Reference Book has been planned to bring within one volume information likely to be the day to day use to the building contractor and the responsible members of his staff. It is designed to provide a standard reference work for building firms, a large part of whose business consists of repair, redecoration and re conditioning work.

There are page tears at the front and back opening and closing of the directory which will need some repairing, including spine fragility as well.

I have looked the Hull Adverts Collectable Builders and Decorators Reference Book over and there is wear and tear to both the internal pages and external surround including spine and binding. There is some tear to the inside pages commensurate with used and displayed age. Book contains its original reference period advertising. Please see photographs to view the condition for yourself, as item is sold as seen. Make for an ideal purchase to an avid collector of such decorating and building books.
