Offered here is a highly unusual piece of decorative, abstract art studio pottery. This piece appears to depict a high-backed chair or possible even a throne, and it is accented with a strange, waffle-like textured effect. There appears to be a very faint artist name or mark on the bottom, but I was unable to make it out. I looked for similar pieces online, but after much time spent, have come up empty. Truly one of a kind.

Dimensions:

About 13" tall, 6.75" wide, and 6.25" deep

Weight:

About 4 lbs

Condition:

Overall excellent condition. Previous owner has applied felt strips to the bottom for long-term display. No chips. There appears to be a shallow, kiln-related fissure that must have occurred when the piece was originally fired, as it is glazed over. Does not affect the integrity of the piece at all.

Thanks for looking!
