If you like bears, hummingbirds, horses and/or donkeys. Than you will love this necklace! As there are many in various styles of carvings, and gemstones. You will notice the two Heartline Bears with an arrow on them. The heartline bear is an important symbol. A Bear is a fierce warrior and great hunter, the bear with its heart line represents strength, wisdom and the lifeline to the soul. The fetishes are two sided, and can be turned to face in either direction.

This necklace has three strands, that have a cascading waterfall effect. The necklace measures 25.5 inches long, not counting the extra length the bottom two strands gives it. ( Please see pic with measuring tape, to better understand what I’m referring to). One side of the necklace, from the top of the clasp, to the bottom of the Thunderbird measures approximately 15.5 inches. Which gives the overall length of the necklace around 31 inches. (Please see photo). The clasp is 925 Sterling Silver. This necklace is BIG and BEAUTIFUL! I looked over each piece on the necklace and I don’t see anything broken, so it appears to be in great condition.

A little about myself: I am part Shoshone, on my Dads side. I currently reside in Virginia. However, I moved here from New Mexico. I am influenced both by my love for the Shoshone people, as well as the Navajo, Hopi, and Zuni people that reside in New Mexico. I used to own a Native American trading post. As well as set up a jewelry and dream catcher booth at large festivals and events in my area. When Covid hit I decided it was time to start selling on different online platforms instead. I do miss the interaction with customers though. So if you have any questions please feel free to ask. And be sure to check out my other jewelry listings. Thank you! :)

Turquoise comes in shades of blue, green, and even white. Some pieces will be a solid color. While others will have matrix that range from white, brown, black, and even gold. Please allow for this naturally occurring color variations, and matrix, in some pieces.

Turquoise is perhaps the oldest stone in man’s history, the talisman of kings, shamans, and warriors. It is a stone of protection. Strong and opaque, yet soothing to the touch, and healing to the eyes. As if carved from a Azure heaven and slipped to earth.
