Copeland D7911 Imari Floral Pattern Breakfast Cup & Staple Repaired Saucer

Antique British bone china oversized / breakfast cup and saucer. Decorated in an Imari / Japan type floral pattern in cobalt, orange, green, and gold. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the bottom with a double c mark with Copeland underneath. This mark was used between 1851 and 1885. Impressed date code U 75 on the saucer for 1875. Also has the pattern number D7911 in red.

These have wear to the gilding and wear consistent with age and use. The cup is in otherwise good condition. The saucer has a staple repair to a discolored curved crack.

The cup measures approximately 5 1/4 inches wide including the handle x 2 7/8 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 6 3/4 inches wide.

This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
