Overglaze Enamel Soft Paste Porcelain Green & Purple Floral Sugar C. 1840s - 50s.

Antique British soft paste porcelain / bone sugar bowl, with hand painted overglaze enamel green , yellow and purple floral designs and purple highlights to the handles and finial. Unmarked. Circa 1840s to 1850s.

Has various cracks and hairlines emanating from where the foot and body come together. Several chips to the inside rim. An in manufacture firing separation and staining on the inside. The lid has various cracks and hairlines.


Measures approximately 7 1/4 inches wide from handle to handle x 5 5/8 inches tall including the lid.

This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
