Presenting this vintage Maori Tiki drinks coaster set from the 1970's Retro era for your consideration.
Hand crafted by "Pacific" of New Zealand, this very attractive set is complete with its six acrylic coasters and original Tiki coaster holder.
On each side of the coaster holder is an acrylic Maori Tiki with piercing red eyes. Each Tiki features wonderful flaked Paua shell inclusions set against a jet black background to show their stunning iridescent colours to full effect. The wooden base is complete with its original blue felt to protect polished and delicate surfaces.
The six acrylic coasters also feature wonderful flaked Paua shell inclusions. Again, the Paua flakes are set against a jet black background to show their stunning iridescent colours. Each coaster measures 8cm in diameter and has a raised lip around its edge.
The Tiki holder measures 5.5cm in length, 7.5cm in width and stands 9cm in height. It retains its original gold foil label which reads "PACIFIC MADE IN NEW ZEALAND".
Presented in wonderful vintage condition. This coaster set has been a display piece only and displays superbly!
This is quite a rare retro Tiki coaster set that will make a very attractive addition to any bar, home or Maori collection!
