Rare and wonderful matte pottery jar or vase stands about 7" tall, with a 5 1/2 diameter at the widest point. Tan background is strikingly decorated with black stylized figures and horizontal lines, giving it a great Art Deco look, and while  the piece is unsigned, and could be from anywhere, native America or Egypt, we do not know. The vase obviously has some age, needs a bath, but is in good as found estate condition, with no chips, cracks or problems.

A handsome addition to a collection, the vase is offered with out reserve.
