Viking, Forties, Dogger, Fisher, Sole. Carefully recited to a highly technical formula, the Shipping Forecast is nature translated into poetry, and a much-loved staple of BBC Radio.

In 2022, I partnered with a master watercolour artist who delicately hand-painted a colour version of my Shipping Forecast Map. Her beautiful and intricate watercolour work is replicated in 200 fine-art giclée prints (see my other listings), and now additionally these high-quality tea towels.

The map shows the BBC Radio 4 and Met Office Forecast regions including their coordinates, the coastal weather stations of the British Isles, and all the additions to the second edition map including the Inshore Waters, Beaufort Scale, and maritime signal flags.

A fantastic gift for anyone who loves the Forecast, or all things nautical.

This map is also available as the signed limited edition fine-art print, and as 500 and 1000-piece jigsaw puzzles.
