ITEM : Paul Detlefsen 1960s Lithograph Test Print Poster Vintage Donald Art Company. The top image is “Old Mill Stream” and the bottom image is “Memories.” *Distressed with tears… this copy, unlike many others for sale in my eBAY store has the titles, as they were printed for retail and not testing.

Paul Detlefsen (October 3, 1899 - August 1, 1986), born in Denmark, was a commercial artist of the mid to late 20th century, associated with the "Hollywood scene".[1] He is known for his realistic depictions of serene, nostalgic scenes; his works were reproduced in a popular line of calendars and other prints. Lived in Encinitas California.

Many years ago I bought the remaining collection of 1960’s era poster and lithograph test printing proofs at an estate sale from a former employee of the Donald Art Company which was in business through 1984. Many of these images were used for calendars or wall decoration. I will have them for sale throughout the year in our eBAY store.
