JACK MASON JM-R402-010 MIRABEAU Men's Racing Chronograph 40mm Cream Face Steel Bracelet Quartz

Founded in Texas and launched in 2015, Jack Mason is a great example of an all American micro brand that has made its name through focusing on producing small quantities of authentic quality watches at an affordable price.

I purchasing this watch used last year, but despite adding a new battery straight away, it has spent the vast majority of its time in my display case with the crown pulled out to conserve battery life.

This is a very pretty watch, particularly when the sunlight catches the pale cream face and chrono dials. It is beautifully designed, with a number of subtle yet highly detailed features, including 2 sub dials each with their own off white sunburst effect, a red sweeping second hand (which only moves with chrono function), and an outer tachymeter inside which the seconds track is marked in 1/5th of a second for split second accuracy when the chrono function is used.

A date window sits at 6 o'clock. The right hand chrono displays relative 24 hrs. Left hand chrono displays elapsed time up to 60 minutes. There is no real time second hand. All chrono buttons and the push pull crown match the polished case, and the engraved case back shows a vintage racing car adding to the overall racing theme that this attractive timepiece carries. Luminous hands and hour markers add to its versatility, along with water resistance of 100m.

Having essentially not used the watch since its new battery was fitted, it should have a good 2-3 years of life ahead of it before needing a replacement. There are a couple of signs of gentle use as can be seen in the pictures, but overall this is still in great condition.

It will ship as is, with the links I removed when I got it, within 24 hours of payment being received.
