This is the story of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra's triumphant first European tour, which brought international recognition to our orchestra. Critics and audiences were unanimous in their praise of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and conductor Sergiu Comissiona. As host of WBJC-FM's Morning Overture program, it was a pleasure for me to talk by telephone with Rheda Becker in Germany about the orchestra's accomplishments as the tour progressed.
