Listed for sale is an ECANADA Art Pottery Table Lamp in white with a blue Jasperware floral relief applied ti the body. It measures approx17" to the top of the shade (12" to top of Socket, 10" to top of Pottery portion) & hsa a base diameter of approx 6.5". The last two photos show other ECANADA pieces I have listed.
Ecanada Art Ware is a well designed and colourful Canadian-Made Art Pottery in the Jasper style with moulded decoration applied in relief to the body of the ware.
George Emery who apprenticed and trained at Wedgewood in England, Immigrated to Canada in 1912. In 1926, Emery began making his pottery at his home in Hamilton, ON and taking it to be fired at The Canadian Porcelain Co, where he was employed until 1945. Then he established his own factory ‘Ecanada Pottery’. Production ceased in 1952 – 1953.
There are No chips Nor cracks & only minimal wear on the bottom. The lamp is in working order, but you may wish to have it rewired in order to clear any safety concerns as it is a used item.
