So who are Torgoen (for those that don't know) ...?
Torgoen was established in 2009 by a group of US based aviation and watch enthusiasts. They use only top quality materials and scrutinize the product and its components during every step of the process. All of their watch movements are Swiss made. They also use high grade stainless steel 316L cases, and Sapphire Crystals. Recently purchased by E. Gluck Corp, all their watches are US assembled, where their own team of technicians and engineers control the entire manufacturing process. Components are inspected upon receipt and assembly and every watch is submitted to rigorous quality-control tests before, during and after the final assembly.

This is a great example of a watch made by a US micro brand producing timepieces with a nod to the aviation industry, whilst maintaining a strong focus on build quality, practicality and character. I'm very fond of it - but tending now to prefer automatics am just not wearing it enough to justify keeping it.
