This is a Saarinen Executive Chair, Model 71 USB, designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll in 1950. This particular example dates to the 1980s, as indicated by the 655 Madison Avenue label that remains. The design features legs of polished tubular stainless steel, and has an upholstered seat and back. It is currently upholstered in an orange hopsack fabric.

This 71 USB measures 24.25 inches deep, 26 inches wide, and is 31.5 inches high. It has an 18-inch seat height, and a 25-inch arm height. The upholstery has a handful of small spots, and shows a bit of fading. The base has a few errant scratches but presents nicely. Overall, this chair is good condition with some wear apparent. Please see photos.
