Today we are pleased to offer for sale a lovely antique Chinese porcelain vase!

This exquisite piece dates from the late Qing period. The vase is finely crafted and detailed and made of white porcelain. It features a baluster-form, glazed in monochrome lustrous Mirror Black, with stunning and very fine hand-painted bird motif, with geometrical highly ornate neck design, all in lavish gilt. The vase is sold with a period carved wooden ebonized stand. The piece will make a fine addition to any collection!

The vase presents well and is in good antique condition, with minor display wear and patina commensurate with age. There is minor surface wear, light scuffing, and some loss to gilt finish. There is a approx. 1.5" long stable hairline fracture on neck, not visible from exterior but visible inside neck - please see photos. No other damage noted on vase. The stand has some scuffing and wear. Sold as-found, be sure to review all photos before purchasing. Thank you!
