ULTRA RARE! SMALL "IVOREX" PLAQUE.
MADE IN FAVERSHAM, ENGLAND BY A. OSBORNE IN 1924.

Here for your consideration is a rare wall-hung plaque which was made in England in 1924 by A. Osborne. The company made these plaques from 1899 until 1965.  This one shows the Whitehall Cheam House which was built in Surrey in 1500.  As you can see, the attention to detail is second to none.

The plaque measures 11cm X 8.25cm. It is incised on the edge "COPYRIGHT A. OSBORNE 1924", and the back is stamped "Ivorex, Osborne Copyright, Made In England.  (BTW "Ivorex" was a very hard form of Plaster Of Paris.)  The condition is Excellent - Near Mint with original hanger.  On the back, in pencil, a child has written "Xmas 1953".  Read the condition details and look closely at the photos as they make up a major part of the description.

If you're a collector of  "Olde English" items, or of all things beautiful and unique, don't let this 100-year-old gem get away.

HAPPY BIDDING!
