This measuring tape manufactured by Spencer and sold under the Hart brand is a rare find. It has a length of 100ft and is made of durable aluminum material. The tape is flexible and retractable, making it easy to use for measuring lengths. Condition is VG. With a clip feature, it can be easily attached to your tool belt and carried around. The tape is designed for standard (SAE) measurement units and has 8ths markings. This is a fantastic working tape that has little to no work time apparent. Auto recoil is still tight and feels like the mainspring is still full of life. Could be field used but may be more suited to a tool collection as these are few and very far between. My guess is Hart licensed these and tried to market to contractors and framers and it never caught on due to bigger more well known staples like lufkin.
