Life Size Deer Statue    

For collection from John St Police Stn, Brighton

 Age and maker unknown

Roughly 140 cm x 100 cm size

This statue is extremely heavy (guess is 100 kg plus) 

You will need a van to collect, it will definitely not go in the back of a car as it needs to be standing upright  

We do not know precisely the material it is made of but is definitely not bronze

It is magnetic so most likely iron or steel  

Cracks and abrasions in the surface are showing rust

Possible it is made of metal and filled with resin but painted to a bronze effect 

Along with the snapped antler there are some very big cracks in the legs and hairline cracks in the body and neck  

It does still seem to be quite solidly planted on the stand though, so not likely to fall apart
