For 3 weeks in late May / early June 1981 , The Clash made Rock n Roll history . Their originally scheduled 8 show run turned into 17 gigs after the NYPD and NYCFD shut down the show on May 30th .

This ticket stub is from May 31st , 1981 which was rescheduled to June 12th

On the back of the stub , in red ink , is 6/12 and a bit of scotch tape residue . I had the stub in a scrapbook for over 40 years !

The Ticket Stub Measures Approximately 2 1/2” x 1 1/2”
