This is a vintage DECO-TEL personal telephone that is hidden inside a decorative wooden box. The phone was likely produced in the 1970's. The brand is DECO-TEL of El Monte, CA, a Western Electric Company.  It looks to be in very good condition however I have no way to test it so I can't verify that it is in working order.  The box chest is stained wood, there is carving decorating all four sides.  Inside is a touch tone keypad and the receiver in almond / beige color.  The receiver has a matching self-storing coil cord.  A cord to connect unit to wall plate is also included.
