Julian Schnabel is an American painter and filmmaker. In the 1980s, Schnabel received international media attention for his "plate paintings" — with broken ceramic plates set onto large-scale paintings. The works in this paperback are interspersed with an interview conducted by Francesco Clemente, a fellow artist who came of age in NYC in the 1980s with Julian.

This paperback is in fine condition, with tight binding and clean pages. There are no marks or tears, but there is a crease on the bottom right of the cover and first inner page (see photo).
