The Pedro Play Where is the Fourth Man Humorous German Porcelain Small Plate

Antique late 19th / early 20th century German small porcelain plate in a napkinfold form. Decorated with a hand colored transfer image of three men playing cards. With the words "The Pedro Play" in black above and "Where is the fourth man" in black below. With gold gilt highlights to the corners. On the back is a "hidden" image that can be seen when tilted in the light. The image is of the fourth man in the outhouse. This example is unmarked; however, previous examples that have sold were sometimes marked Germany.

Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.

Measures approximately 5 1/8 inches wide.
