Nippon Morimura Hand Painted Cottage Landscape & Raised Enamel Syrup Pitcher

Nice antique porcelain syrup pitching and underplate. Decorated with a hand painted small cottage, body of water, and trees on the syrup pitcher. With raised blue, green, and red jewels and scrollwork to the beige handle and finial. The syrup is marked on the bottom Hand Painted M Nippon with a wreath. This mark was used by the Morimura Brothers in Nippon (Japan) between 1911 and 1921. The underplate is unmarked.

Has a few spots of loss to the beading along the rim of the syrup, but otherwise good condition.

The syrup measures approximately 4 1/8 inches wide from spout to handle x 4 inches tall to the top of the lid finial.
The plate measures approximately 5 1/8 inches wide.
The syrup measures approximately 4 3/8 inches tall when sitting on the underplate.

These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the pieces.
