Syria was part of the French Mandate after WW1 (until 1946) , hence the french influence on Syria and Lebanon.
This wallet came to me from my late Father, and it is quite certain the wallet was made at about pre/during WW2 period.
* The wallet looks PALER than my digicam captured , I tried to mimic its "under sunlight" colors.
* Some stitches are TORN (easily fixed).
* It has Fabric lining which can not be seen from outside
* It has some stains.
I DID NOT try to really clean it
I DID USE : Fiebing's All Purpose Cleaner & Conditioner
* Faded colors . Looks like Only Brown, Green and Black, where used.
