The “Legendary Warriors” series continues with an exclusive silver item – “Zaporozhian Cossack”. It depicts one of the Ukrainian defenders who led rebellions against Poland and landlords. The word “Cossack” is derived from the Turkic “kazak” and means a free man. Ukrainian Cossacks were fighters, who lived on the Pontic-Caspian steppe below the Dnieper Rapids, also known as the Wild Fields.

The coin contains a portrait of a warrior in traditional clothes. Besides, there are some Ukrainian symbols - guelder rose, typical weapon and clothes of Cossacks. Selective gilding and digital printing beautifully highlight them.
