There is a larger head, a deep cavity back, and a thicker iron, which gives you the confidence of having an iron, combined with the control of a wedge. 

PLAYER FRIENDLY SOLE GRINDS 

Features two sole grinds, both engineered to promote consistency. In the lower lofts, a full sole gives iron-like turf interaction. But, in the middle and higher lofts, a modified W grind enhances bounce and gives increased forgiveness out of bunkers and thick rough.
