A Genuine Antiquity, Not A Reproduction !

For reference, please refer to  "Mystery, Novelty & Fantasy Clocks" by Derek Roberts

One of the ever-popular "French Industrial" series made by French clock makers to celebrate the Industrial Age. This was made by Andre Romain Guilmet, the most renowned maker of this genre.

A highly desirable and rare French clock by Guilmet in the form of a nautical lighthouse.

The automated turret, housing a clock, barometer and two thermometers rotates slowly with an independent spring-wound movement.

Stands about 43cm. tall (17 inches). The marble base is 15.25cm (6 inches) diameter.  The clock face is 6.35cm ( (2.5 inches).

In perfect running condition, recently professionally serviced. The clock runs for eight days.

Note: we have several other French Industrial clocks available, including a rare fire engine, capstan, band saw and other clocks. Check out musicaltreasuresofmiami.com for details.

PACKING & SHIPPING:

We will ship this via FedEx. Check our eBay feedbacks, you will see that we know how to pack and ship this safely to your door. We do our own packing and, so it is done right, using fresh, new materials, not stuff we picked out of a local dumpster.

Shipping boxes are heavy-duty, double-walled, and we utilize extra internal protection.  Only the best, safest packing materials are utilized.  Also, shipping costs went up a lot during the pandemic - so we can't compete with Amazon Prime's free shipping, but neither can they offer you such a fine antique or pack it the way we do.

We are a leading world-wide dealer and specialist in mechanical music, clocks and phonographs and stand by what we sell 100%.  We have many hundreds of items for sale at:
