It is amazing to me to find a 1985 car still with a box. And the car in excellent non-scratched condition. There might be slight scuffs or scratches, but please view the photos. This car is incredible.

The controller is more scuffed up than the car is And the controller is scuffed up pretty badly.

There is no corrosion in the battery boxes. The car takes eight AA batteries and the radio control unit takes 1 9 V battery

All the lights and sirens function as they should if you are not actively using the control and the car is turned on the sirens and lights as well as motion will turn on all by itself so you must switch the switch off if you want the car to be quiet. I noticed that the motor was stiff from lack of use and it probably needs to be broken in. I don’t think this car was ever really used before except maybe for a few minutes based on the condition of the car line.

The antenna for the car as well as the Are in perfect condition. The headlights function and flash as well as the retractable roof light.

The box is in poor condition and has been repaired, but somebody could make it look better. It does appear to have some water damage as well by some stains that appear on the top panel. The box is by all means not in good or perfect condition, but it is still a box. It is also missing the insert. I will probably flatten the box for shipping and ship it flat inside the box with the car and controller.

I was able to get the steering to operate once or twice, but then it stopped working and the switch probably needs to be cleaned. This is a 1985 car and these require maintenance to get them back into perfect condition

I don’t know if it’s normal or not to operate on its own without the radio control function. I thought it was pretty unique and cool. There is an off switch underneath the car as well a low and high speed button underneath the car and also a turbo charge speed unit Built into the controller. So you can go faster or slower depending on how fast you want to get there.

I do believe that I also have the charger for this car because it was packed with the radio control chargers, but I can’t be certain. It does fit, but I don’t have any rechargeable batteries to test it with.

📦We are some of the most careful shippers on eBay and depending on how delicate the item is sometimes we will double package the item using rolls of bubble wrap and heavy duty brand, new Home Depot, or Walmart boxes we do not use recycled boxes on anything. All of our shipping materials are new. Depending on the delicacy of the item sometimes we definitely recommend FedEx door delivery because they seem to be much more gentle on the packages, but we still prepare them as if they are going to battle. Nobody packages as carefully as us, and we will swear by that.📦

We are very very careful to describe any defects in any any items, and go to great lengths to find any defects, whether it even be a tiny scratch or just a blemish in the paint. We believe in 100% transparency and that’s why we don’t get returns.

📦We ship the same day as payment if possible, and we drop off all of our packages at the US PAC and ship office in Stuart Florida. FedEx, USPS and all of the other carriers come to this location to pick up the package. USPS frequently forgets to scan in packages , so don’t panic if your tracking doesn’t show movement because we never lose packages. they are simply underpaid government employees and they are prone to frequently make mistakes. However, we definitely recommend using FedEx door delivery whenever possible. You do have the option to choose whatever type of shipping you would like to use but sometimes we will even upgrade people for free, just because we want the peace of mind knowing that that delicate and rare item is going to have better care with FedEx. 📦
