Had a professional simple restoration, all brass was polished, Bakelite is like new condition, no chips, cracks, or damage (rare to see)
Felt and cords were replace with period correct
Finished with a satin matte finish, no dents or scratches
To top it off the restorer added blue leds (never needs replacement, runs 10000 of hours)
Plugs into a reg outlet by operate on 3vdc so not house current at the phone (this is optional and just don't plug it in if not desired) but its the coolest feature for sure
Its one of kind and will make you say it looks new only better
