This is a PH 'Louvre' Ceiling Pendant, initially designed by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen in 1957. These examples date to the 1980s. The listed price includes one pendant, and we have three pendants available for purchase. The design originated in Denmark, incorporating thirteen aluminum shades that are lacquered in white. The undersides of the shades are matte, and the tops are glossy, intended to prevent glare and to diffuse light evenly. The spherical nature of the piece ensures uniform light around the fixture, illuminating both walls and ceiling without an exposed bulb. Even when turned off, the pendant pleases the eye with its sculptural form.

Each pendant measures 24 inches in diameter, and they have a height of 25.5 inches. They retain their original tags verifying their authenticity. The pieces have been freshly cleaned and their lacquer is not chipped or scratched. Overall, these pendants are in very good condition. Please see photos.
