Royal Vienna Hand Painted Griffin Ladies Floral Scrolls & Raised Gold Deep Plate
Nice antique authentic Royal Vienna porcelain deep / soup plate. Decorated with a black border with white floral scrollwork and gold framed white panels with hand painted blue, purple, and red floral scrollwork and winged griffins with female heads. Gold gilding along the edge and inner rim of the plate. With raised and beaded gold floral scrollwork designs below the gold band around the inner rim. Marked on the bottom with an underglaze blue beehive/shield mark. Also has an impressed 95 and and an impressed 27. 95 is a date for for 1795. Konrad von Sorgenthal / Conrad von Sorgenthal period.
Has some wear to the gilding and a chip to the edge, but otherwise good condition.
Measures approximately 9 3/4 inches wide x 1 7/8 inches tall.
