Set of 12 T&V Limoges Hand Painted Signed HM Edson Cherry Blossom 8 3/8 Inch Plates
Set
of 12 pretty porcelain octagon shaped luncheon plates. Each plate is
nicely decorated with a hand painted border of pink cherry blossoms with
gold gilding. Marked on the reverse Depose T & V Limoges France in
green. This mark was used by Tressemann & Vogt in Limoges France
between 1907 and 1919. They are also signed by the artist H. M. Edson on
the reverse.
These have some very minor usage or stacking
wear and a few plates have minor wear to the gilding. Two plates have
chips to the foot rim, which were probably caused in manufacture.
Otherwise good condition with no other chips or cracks.
Each plate measures approximately 8 3/8 inches wide.
These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the pieces.
