Many years ago there was an Emperor who was so very fond of new clothes ...
The vain, selfish Emperor is taken in by a couple of tricksters who promise to make him a stunning outfit that only the best and cleverest people will be able to see. But they soon realise that they have been made to look very foolish indeed, when a young girl points out that the Emperor is wearing - nothing at all!
