This dual-band mini infrared receiver is for use with a remote control extender/repeater system. It accepts signals from your infrared remote control and relays the signal through to the 3.5mm stereo mini-plug, which can be connected to a connecting block, which in turn can be connected to an emitter that will send the signal to your AV equipment.

Suitable for a broad range of 38-56kHz infrared devices with an IR input port. IR Receiver includes a 10 ft cable between the receiver head and the 3.5mm mini-plug that allows You to extend the signal receiver to a suitable position.

Just place the IR emitters in the place where you want to control and plug the 3.5mm jack into an IR input port of the repeater device. Test to make sure you can control the device. Real-time transmission of the infrared remote signal without any delay. To extend your receiver cable length use a 3.5mm extension cable.

NOTE: It is an IR receiver, not a transmitter!
