Biller Remote Control Helicopter Tin Toy for Parts Western Germany Vintage Ca 1955

This toy is missing the helicopter and red, plastic caps for the controls.  It has a dent on one corner (see pics), rust spots on the bottom and the result of Scotch tape residue on the top. 

The key turns the spring mechanism and will rotate the helicopter base if reversed by hand.  Lift control works.  Stop/Start control moves but does not engage the motor.

The internal workings could likely be restored to working order: it is offered here ‘as is’ for parts or restoration.
