the wall mounting is it's plugged into an outlet. IT'S Already in the listing if I change it, it will take the picture out.  You plug this into an outlet you plug a lamp into it set the temperature when the furnace doesn't come on the light comes on in your neighbor know that you need someone to check the furnace there is no fancy gadgets with this or smartphone gadgets it's just a simple device that works. Oh! I suppose I better explain that's in case you go on vacation, or you aren't going to be at your house for a few days When it's cold so the   pipes don't freeze. Or maybe you want to let someone know when your air conditioning isn't running you need the house cool when you get home
