Royal Vienna Style Hand Painted Lady & Cherub / Cupid Teal & Raised Gold Plate
Antique German porcelain plate. Decorated with a hand painted scene of a lady and cherub / cupid. Framed in gold gilding with raised gold flowers and designs. Has a teal border with raised gold floral designs, medallions in diamonds, and lattice/net designs. Also has three medallions in green with raised gold floral designs and gold beading. Gold gilding along the edge. The scene is signed by the artist. Marked on the reverse with a blue underglaze pseudo / spurious beehive/shield mark with Germany below in overglaze blue. Also has the name of the scene in red.
Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition.
Measures approximately 9 5/8 inches wide.
