Nippon Hand Painted Purple Roses Bluegreen Cobalt Gold Rococo Style Celery Dish

Nice antique porcelain celery dish with relief molded Rococo Revival style scrollwork edge decorated in cobalt with gold lattice/net design and scrollwork. With hand painted small flowers and purple roses in red, blue-green, green, pink, and gold scrollwork cartouches over a bluegreen band with gold flowers and scrollwork. Unmarked. Probably made during the Nippon era of Japanese porcelain, circa 1891 to 1921.

Has some wear to the gilding, and a small gilded over chip to the edge, but otherwise good condition.

Measures approximately 14 inches long x 7 inches wide x 2 inches tall.
