Royal Worcester 7976 Enamel Floral Gold Basket & Marbleized Pink Demitasse Cup & Saucer
Very pretty porcelain demitasse cup and saucer. Nicely decorated with a marbleized pink border with gold gilt scrollwork designs and urns with hand enameled flowers. With a band of pale yellow around the center of the saucer and below the marbleized pink on the cup. Marked on the bottom Royal Worcester Made in England with a date code for 1925. Also has the pattern number in red, I believe it is 7976.
The glaze is discolored near the handle, probably in manufacture. I believe some of the pink accidentally got mixed with the yellow, as there is no discoloration to the white. It does have some wear to the gilding, but no chips or cracks.
The cup measures approximately 3 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/8 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 4 1/4 inches wide.
Vintage items may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
