This is a money transport wallet with the printed “Wells Fargo Nevada National Bank of San Francisco” stamped into the leather. Wells Fargo acquired Nevada National in 1905 and changed their name to this print until 1923, when they changed names again after merging with another bank. The leather is still pliable and has bending/flexIng characteristics. One end joining has opened along the whole wallet side and exposes the inner parts and layers. This wallet still has a faint leather smell and is not musty or moist. Historical piece.
thx.
