Benjamin Carrivick is a contemporary British artist born in Birmingham in 1980. His work is largely figurative and experiments with normative conventions of beauty. His refreshingly modern style takes inspiration from modern figurative painters such as Egon Schiele. Ben is from an old Cornish Family and studied for a while at Falmouth School of Art as well as studying Architecture in Liverpool and Plymouth. Once again Carrivick now resides in Cornwall, where he continues to paint in his garden studio.
