Lionel  #1060 0-4-2 steam locomotive powered,  complete O/ O27 Freight Train Set

This is a used Lionel #1060 0-4-2 steam locomotive powered, complete O / O27 4 unit freight train set. It is a complete train set and is in good operating condition.  The track and transformer are also in good operating condition.

Included in this sale are the following:

• 1 - Lionel #1060 0-4-2 locomotive, with a powerful AC scout motor with working  headlight and lens. It runs in the forward direction only as it was built to do.  The 1060 was built from 1960 to 1962.
  
• 1 - Lionel Lines 8 wheel tender.
  
• 1 - Lionel "LASER" 8 wheel flatcar with a removable Hot Wheels type race car secured with a rubber band.
  
• 1 - Lionel unmarked 8 wheel SP style caboose.
  
• 1 - Lionel # 1011 25 watt transformer with a speed control, a 110 volt power cord, 2 conductor track power cable and a track power connector for connection to the track.
  
• 8 -  O27 gauge curved track sections.
• 4 -  O27 gauge straight track sections..
• 1 - Standard operating instruction booklet
  
• 1 - Track polishing pad

I completely assembled the set and tested everything. This train is in very good condition, especially since the components are approximately 60 years old. The locomotive has scuffs and paint rubs and is dirty, but I don't see any damage. The tender is missing the steps and is dusty. The flatcar is in very good condition with some slight rust on some of the metal parts. The caboose has no numbers or lettering, but is in very good condition. The track does have some rust and tarnish. I lightly cleaned them, made sure each track has 3 pins and the train runs nicely on these tracks. I am including a track polishing pad to maintain the tracks in good operating condition, I do not have any original manuals for this set, the instruction booklet I am including gives basic tips and suggestions for operation. Overall, this is a nice, basic, easy to operate train set and is ready to set up and play with.
