A very exceptional Hamilton Milton!

The graceful scroll capped lugs usually are victims of terrible overall wear. Not so in the case of this exceptional and ORIGINAL survivor! A very nice 14K gold-filled case graces this early post-war Milton with only evidence of light usage over its 76 years of careful and occasional use. Surely the best ORIGINAL Milton I've seen in many years in that regard.  Truly a "Collection Queen"!

The Milton is a great post-war design effort, scroll-cap lugs, and a dial with numerals and indices combined for a more modern look.  The originality of this Milton speaks for itself.    Measuring a nice 37mm lug tip to lug tip and sleek 22mm wide not including crown, the Milton is a great looking executive watch of the era.

This example runs the top-of-the line magnificent Hamilton Lancaster 19J 982 movement.  

This Original Milton  is just incredible for an 76 year old watch! Very nice original dial is amazing in condition given its age, showing mellow coloring and slight age toning by the center post in evidence of it's age. Numerals gleam!  14K Yellow gold filled case is beautiful with no distractions, just normal very light and expected evidence of careful use.  (Please see photos). High Wall Acrylic crystal clear, with no major distractions.  Comes complete with a very nice NOS black croco-leather strap, completing the mid-century look.  The superlative Hamilton Lancaster PA 19J 982 movement sparkles, having completed a full and proper service, including a fresh mainspring. This original Milton is ready for the wrist and will surely provide another generation of stylish service keeping very nice vintage time.
