Nice
antique scalloped edge French porcelain plate. Decorated with large
hand painted red poppies over a pink and blue background. With gold
gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse Limoges France in green.
This is an underglaze green manufacturer's mark used around the 1890s.
Probably painted sometime between 1890 and 1918.
Has some wear to the gilding and painting, but otherwise good condition.
Measures approximately 9 3/8 inches wide.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
