British Welsh Costumes Hand Colored Transferware Coffee Cup & Saucer C. 1860s

Antique British bone china coffee cup and saucer. Decorated in the Welsh Costumes pattern in black transfer with hand colored highlights in blue, pink, orange, yellow, and green. Blue trim around the edge. Unmarked. Circa 1860s.

Has crazing typical of bone china, staining to the saucer, and some wear consistent with age and use, but otherwise good condition.

The cup measures approximately 4 inches wide including the handle x 2 5/8 inches wide.
The saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches wide.

This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
