Jackie French; Growing Flowers Naturally

Aird Books ISBN 0-94721423-2

"This is no ordinary book about growing flowers organically.
"For Jackie French, flowers are magic, literally magic.  The product of millions of years of evolution, their colours, shapes and smells are as irresistible to humans as they are to birds, bees, wasps and other pollinators.
"Flowers may be magic in possessing more than just a powerful attraction.  They have medicinal powers too, and 'witches' used to rely on their properties to cast spells and influence the material world.
"Be this as it may, one thing's certain: if you fill your life with flowers, it will be the richer for it - in many different ways."

Please look at the photos - they are integral to the description of this item!
The main issue with this book is that it has been exposed to steam (or similar) which has affected the first ~20 pages.  This doesn't affect readability and the binding is fine, so this is an excellent reading copy.  Covers generally in excellent condition but there is some indistinct creasing to the front cover; spine without creases, binding tight.  Damage as described but the text is otherwise unmarked.
