Here
I have for sale a William Moorcroft Ginger Jar, decorated in the Pomegranate design, an early Burslem piece, circa 1914.
The Ginger Jar stands 6 inches in height, and measures, approximately, 16 inches around its widest point.
The top rim measures 3 inches in diameter, and it measures 3 inches across the base.
The Ginger Jar is decorated very well, with a band of Six fruit
around the main body, Two of them being open, and berries and Leaves on the lid, the colours are good and the
tubelining is neat and precise.
The
Ginger jar is in good condition, there has been some restoration to the
lid, it was broken in Two, the break was clean and it has been put back
together to a Professional standard, the main body of the piece is untouched, the
restoration does not affect the
display qualities of the piece, it displays very well.
Apart from the above mentioned, there is nothing else to note, there is no other restoration and no damage, guaranteed.
Any white marks or other are either camera glare or under glaze.
Who ever buys this Ginger Jar will not be disappointed and it would make a great addition to any collection.
Will post within 2 working days of cleared payment.
