VINTAGE ORIGINAL LATE VICTORIAN/EDWARDIAN NIGHTDRESS, IN SAME FAMILY SINCE IT WAS NEW

A nightdress for a very young child, or doll. Or possibly a simple christening robe.

Stylish, restrained nightdress, 70cm long, pit to pit 32cm.

Nice detailing, plus long ties to create a bow at the back.

Some age-expected mottling, but overall in good condition. Lovely soft old fabric feel.

One of a collection of christening robes, dresses, tops and bonnets which has been in my family for a century. Time to sell. Needs new home and new owner after all these years.
