LONG, STYLISH ORIGINAL LATE VICTORIAN/EDWARDIAN CHRISTENING ROBE, IN SAME FAMILY SINCE IT WAS NEW

A very elegant christening robe.

Stylish and understated, long back, neck tie, bow tie to front, 77cm long, pit to pit 24cm.

Nice detailing, plus long ties to create a bow at the back.

Some age-expected mottling, some minor holes. Needs a bit of attention, reflected in price. Lovely soft old fabric feel.

One of a collection of christening robes, dresses, tops and bonnets which has been in my family for a century. Time to sell. Needs new home and new owner after all these years.
