It came in a lladro box but I am not sure that it was the original box.

If an item is damaged in transit, The buyer is responsible to contact the post office and file a claim. We try and ship our items Ground Advantage which carries $100.00 insurance and is a cheaper option. Sometimes we offer a choice Priority or ground advantage. These are the only two that carry insurance. If You want insurance for another service You will have to request it and pay a fee.
  The USP requires visual inspection of the item and original packaging. Therefore it has to be up to the BUYER to file the claim so that He or She can take the package to their local post office for a refund. 
There will be No refund for an item that shows delivered even if the buyer claims they did not receive. It. The buyer needs to contact their local post office.
